AN OLD FILE PHOTO, AND I STILL HAVE THIS COWBOY HAT TOO
Sorry folks, I had intended to do a post on Tuesday, but my day went sideways on me. Tuesday started out fine with sunshine and warm temps. I took the Subaru for a nice country road drive and snapped some photos. I stopped at our walking spot on Stirling Line, and with Pheebs beside me in spirit, we walked the quarter mile up the road and back. From there, I headed home feeling not too bad. An hour later, the energy and strength drained out of me again, and my day spiralled. The stomach pains started later in the day, worsened, and stayed with me until I finally fell asleep. I'm beginning to wonder if maybe I have developed an ulcer due to all the stress over the past 6 months. This morning I phoned my Nurse Practitioner person and made an appointment for June 20th or sooner if a cancellation becomes available. Lorraine thought we should have gone to Emergency last night. I've had half a dozen short, sharp stomach pains today, and if it ramps up again, that is what we will have to do. Sorry for all this 'downer' news, but I'm just trying to keep concerned readers in the loop. These have not been easy days...........
So sorry you are having unexplained aches and pains, Al. Good idea to go to emergency if they continue. MANY years ago you told us how you absolutely have to be upfront and honest with your readers. I commented on that---how it is part of who you are---- and you responded to my comment in your blog. That sincerity is just one of many characteristics that make you so special, so treasured. I so hope your health problems disappear! Thank you for keeping us in the loop.
I agree that you should go to the emergency room. My wife had bad pains after an operation. I took her to the emergency room. She had C Diff, a really bad infection.
Yes to the above comments. And if you leave out the "downer" stuff that's going on, well, that's not the kind of thing that's very real. Everybody knows life is not all sugar and spice.
If you aren't eating properly, your stomach will kick the @#$% out of you. If you are remembering to eat, see your healthcare provider ASAP. Stay Safe!
H Al, My BIL gets kidney stones pretty often. The last surgeries he had two months ago were first, for a bladder stone, then after a two week reprieve, he went in for his scheduled kidney stone surgery. Shortly after that, around a week or two later, he felt just miserable and when he went back, they took his stent out and I heard that he felt much better after that.
Hope that your stomach pain is not a serious. You certainly have been through the mill for a very long time. You certainly don't need another set back at this time, or any other time. My heart goes out to you Al, Sending healing wishes and prayers to you.

ReplyDeleteI agree with Woodsy; should've gone to Emerg last night. Especially having sharp pains so soon after surgery isn't good. Be well.

I have to agree with everyone else. Don't wait to go to the ER. Life has a lot of "downers" and sharing those times, help us with ours.

ReplyDeleteHope it's a short set back while your body heals. Thanks for checking in.

ReplyDeletePlease go to the emergency room and get yourself checked out! Don't play around with it, especially right after you just had a procedure.
