Sorry for skipping so many blog posts these last few weeks, but with so little going on these days, combined with this stormy winter weather, some days I just don't get to my blog. I don't especially like this because I enjoy getting out, doing things, taking photos, and then sitting down at my keyboard and creatively putting it all together at the end of each day. With my hobbies of travel, photography, and writing all bundled together, I do enjoy both the physical and mental exercise they bring me. I shall endeavor to do better in '26'.....Our winter storm continues, but it is much worse for people living further inland. Many road closures are still in effect. We thought maybe we would head off to Clinton again this afternoon, but as soon as we ventured the short distance out of the Park to where our sheltered forest meets the open farm fields, I knew we would not be going to Clinton. High winds were whipping the snow into a frenzy and creating white-outs. We turned around and headed back home, where I continued with my sunroom rearranging project.

Wednesday:: Well, here we are at the end of another year. As with each passing year, I am always glad to turn life's psychological page and let the oldness of the previous year slip off into the sunset. And, in the sunrise of a new year with its many unknowns, I will again try to cope with and do my best for whatever approaching storms it has in store for me. And, I look forward to the smiles, good times, and feelings of joy during the sunny days ahead. To everyone out here, I wish you all the very best and a Happy New Year:))))

GROANER'S CORNER:(( Two natural gas company service personnel, a senior training supervisor, and a young trainee, were out checking meters in a suburban neighborhood. They parked their truck at the end of an alley and worked their way to the other end. At the last house, a woman looking out her kitchen window watched the two men as they checked her gas meter. When they finished, the senior supervisor, proud of his physical condition, challenged his younger co-worker to a foot race back to their truck. As they approached the truck, they realized that the woman from the last house they checked was huffing and puffing right behind them. They stopped and asked her what was wrong. Gasping for breath, she replied, "When I saw two gas men running as hard as you two were, I figured I'd better run, too!

Two little Morons were in a parking lot trying to unlock the door of their Mercedes with a coat hanger. They tried and tried to get the door open, but they couldn't.
The one with the coat hanger stopped for a moment to catch his breath, and his friend said anxiously, "Hurry up! It's starting to rain, and the top is down."

A: Their horns don't work.

I work in a busy office, and when a computer goes down, it causes quite an inconvenience. Recently, one of our computers not only crashed, but it made a noise that sounded like a heart monitor. "This computer has flat-lined," a co-worker called out with mock horror. "Does anyone here know how to do mouse-to-mouse?
