ALL BY MYSELF WITH MY MUSIC AND MY THOUGHTS

SEEN ON MY WAY HOME FROM MY COUNTRY ROAD WALKING SPOT THIS MORNING
With 3 consecutive nights of well below freezing temps upon us, I slipped underneath our unit Sunday afternoon and turned off the water again.  Better to be safe than sorry.  Encouraged by a fiery sunrise, blue sunny skies, and dressed warmly, I headed out straightaway to my country road walking spot this morning.  Nice to get the legs moving again.  'Hello bush, hello gravel road, hello fields, hello big blue sky, hello old barn, etc.  Oh, and hello seagulls.

I WASN'T THE ONLY ONE ON MY WALKING ROAD EARLIER TODAY
A NICE CROP OF SPRING GREEN I'D SAY
 A FLOTILLA OF DUCKS

LOOKS LIKE THEY WERE HAVING THEMSELVES A BIT OF A DUCK SCRAMBLE OUT THERE
ALL IS OKAY, AND OFF THEY GO
Home again, I didn't waste any time getting to a number of little outside Spring projects I have going on, and I kept the pedal to the metal all day.  I absolutely wore myself out, but it was okay.  I love to be out and about this time of year doing things.  Lorraine headed back to Stratford for a few days, so now I can have as many peanut butter sammiches as I like.  Skies remained mostly clear all day, and at the time of posting this tonight, it is still sunny.  As soon as it is dark enough, I will head out in the Subaru to my quiet night spot on Towerline Road and haul out my binoculars.  The air is clear at 38F, and with no Moon in the night sky, the myriad of twinkling stars will look like tiny diamonds.  I so much look forward to my nocturnal excursions out into the countryside.  It's one of my very much most favoritest things to do.  All by myself with my music and my thoughts:))
I PUT THIS LATTICE WORK UP ABOUT 20 YEARS AGO, BUT IT'S GETTING OLD, AND THE WOOD IS ROTTING, SO I THINK I'LL TAKE IT ALL DOWN SHORTLY AND OPEN THIS AREA UP

YOU CAN SEE HERE HOW THINGS HAVE BECOME OVERGROWN
IT TOOK ME A WHILE TO CUT THIS OLD FALLING APART WOODEN BARREL FREE FROM AL THE VINES

I TILLED THIS AREAIN THE BACK YARD AND SEEDED IT
OUT FRONT BY THE ROAD, I RAN THE ROTOTILLER THROUGH A LOT OF PARRIWINKLE IN AN EFFORT TO CLEAN THIS AREA UP AND READY IT FOR SOME NEW IDEAS
THE PROBLEM WITH TILLING AN AREA LIKE THAT IS ALL THE ROOTS THAT GET ENTANGLED IN THE ROTOTILLER BLADES AND IT TAKES ME FOREVER TO GET THEM ALL  CUT OUT
WHEN I FINISH RAKING OUT THIS FRONT YARD AREA I WILL ALSO PLANT GRASS SEED HERE

GROANER'S CORNER:(( Bob was in trouble. He forgot his wedding anniversary. His wife was really angry. She told him, "Tomorrow morning, I expect to find a gift in the driveway that goes from 0 to 200 in 6 seconds AND IT BETTER BE THERE!" The next morning, he got up early and left for work. When his wife woke up, she looked out the window and sure enough, there was a gift-wrapped box in the middle of the driveway. Confused, the wife put on her robe and ran out to the driveway, brought the box back in the house. She opened it and found a brand new bathroom scale. Bob has been missing since Friday.

Q: Why couldn't the leopard play hide and seek? A: Because he was always spotted.

Q: What starts with E, ends with E, and has only 1 letter in it? A: Envelope.

Q: Can February march? A: No, but April may.

If you want to know who is really man’s best friend, put your dog and your wife in the trunk of your car, come back an hour later, open the trunk, and see which one is happy to see you.
