Andrew popped over Monday night and showed me, using my Apple charging cord, how to transfer photos from my iPhone into my Lenovo laptop computer. This will give me easier editing control over the photos and a dedicated file folder to contain them on the computer. I was thankful that Andrew had volunteered to do that for me. The next thing he is going to show me how to do is to back up my iPhone onto my computer. Andrew, by the way, has been a blog reader for the past couple of years. He and Sheila moved here to the Bayfield Pines Park last January.
HAY WAGONS AWAIT ANOTHER WORK DAY IN THE FIELDS
With a 99% humidity factor under cloudy skies this morning, I thought it was going to be miserably sticky out, but I forgot to factor in the cooler 68F temperature driven even lower by a strong northerly wind. I should have dressed a little warmer for my walk, but I did make it up the old gravel road and back okay.
A LAZY MORNING DOWN ON THE FARM
Living in a forest of pine trees and other trees, those trees are always dropping things, especially so with the help of strong winds and rain. So, it was time once again for a walk-around today with my leaf rake, pitchfork, wheelbarrow, and clippers. I raked up two full wheelbarrow loads of mostly pine needles, with a healthy dose of twigs and leaves thrown in. Woodsy busied herself in the kitchen fixing up another twenty-two ten-ton watermelon salad. One of my favs. Woodsy also drove neighbor Monica to Goderich for an appointment. Monica's car (a Subaru) doesn't get driven much, so Monica thought it would be a good idea to take her car and give it a run. From the appointment, they popped into Walmart to go on a shopping bender, and after that, I think they ended up down at the beach sunning their buns.
SINCE I CHANGED TO BIRDSEED WITHOUT PEANUTS AND SUNFLOWER SEEDS, I HAVE NOTICED A BIG DROP IN FRONT YARD SQUIRRELS
NOT THE BEST PHOTO BUT I'M THINKING THIS MIGHT BE A NOT OFTEN SEEN INDIGO BUNTING AT THE BIRD STATION THIS AFTERNOON
GROANER'S CORNER:(( An Englishman, a Scotsman and an Irishman were trying to get in to see the Olympics without tickets. So they got to the stadium during one of the main events and discussed how they would be able to attend without paying. The Englishman walked around the stadium and saw a pole lying on the ground and picked it up. He walked to the entrance and said, "Peter. England. Pole throwing." The guards let him in without hesitation. While walking, the Scotsman sees a manhole. He picks up the cover, carries it under his arm to the entrance and says, "McGregor. Scotland. Discus throwing." The guards let him in also. The Irishman is very frantic, since both his friends are now inside. He walks around the stadium and finds a roll of barbed wire. He picks it up, walks to the entrance and says, "Murphy. Ireland. Fencing."

- Did you hear about the psychic amnesiac? He knew in advance what he was going to forget.
- Did you hear about the new restaurant that just opened up on the moon? Great food, but no atmosphere.

The teacher of the earth science class was lecturing on map reading. After explaining about latitude, longitude, degrees and minutes. the teacher asked, "Suppose I asked you to meet me for lunch at 23 degrees, 4 minutes north latitude and 45 degrees, 15 minutes east longitude...?"
After a confused silence, a voice volunteered, "I guess you'd be eating alone."
