I ALWAYS HAVE MY FINGERS CROSSED HOPING THAT SCOTTY WILL BEAM ME UP

Didn't want to go to the trouble of taking the bikes off the car Sunday because I plan to take them to 360 Bikes n Boards in Goderich this week to have a few things looked at.  So, with the bikes on the back of the car, we decided to take a Sunday evening drive into Bayfield.  Always nice to see people sitting in the outside eateries, and strolling along Main Street browsing the shoppes.  Because of the cloud cover, there was no sunset, but of course, that didn't deter people from lining up at Rosies Ice Cream Shoppe.  Neither Woodsy or I have any patience for line-ups, so needless to say.....we went ice creamless again:((

THESE CANADA THISTLES HAVE GONE TO SEED
This morning, a sizeable storm front moving south of us just grazed Bayfield on its thundering way inland, heading east.  Too bad, because we could have used the rain.  Well, at least my grass could have, that is.  Oh, that reminds me....better get my lawn sprinkler out.  Kind of a lazy day, with a bit of puttering thrown in.  Woodsy headed back to Stratford late this afternoon, so I will definitely have myself out under the stars again tonight.  I always have my fingers crossed hoping that Scotty will beam me up:))

Al's Music Box:: More Than I Can Say by Leo Sayer.

GROANER'S CORNER:(( The room was full of pregnant women and their partners, and the Lamaze class was in full swing. The instructor was teaching the women how to breathe properly, along with informing the men how to give the necessary assurances at this stage of the plan. The teacher then announced, "Ladies, exercise is good for you. Walking is especially beneficial. And, gentlemen, it wouldn't hurt you to take the time to go walking with your partner!" The room really got quiet. Finally, a man in the middle of the group raised his hand. "Yes?" replied the teacher. "Is it alright if she carries a golf bag while we walk?"
