MY GIDDY-UP-GO' BUTTON

A BEAUTIFUL SKY ON MY MORNING WALK
A late-day cloud cover rolled in Tuesday evening and quashed my stargazing.  Not one of my better days today.  Just couldn't seem to find my 'Giddy-Up-Go button................

Al's Music Box:: Time by the Alan Parsons Project.

GROANER'S CORNER:(( Jacob, age 92, and Rebecca, age 89, living in Florida, are all excited about their decision to get married. They go for a stroll to discuss the wedding, and on the way they pass a drugstore. Jacob suggests they go in.........

Jacob addresses the man behind the counter: Are you the owner?
The pharmacist answers, Yes.
Jacob: We're about to get married. Do you sell heart medication?
Pharmacist: Of course we do.
Jacob: How about medicine for circulation?
Pharmacist: All kinds.
Jacob: Medicine for rheumatism and scoliosis?
Pharmacist: Definitely.
Jacob: Medicine for memory problems, arthritis, jaundice?
Pharmacist: Yes, a large variety. The works.
Jacob: What about vitamins, sleeping pills, Geritol, antidotes for Parkinsons disease?
Pharmacist: Absolutely.
Jacob: You sell wheelchairs and walkers?
Pharmacist: All speeds and sizes.
Jacob: Okay, that's great. We would like to use this store as our Bridal Registry.

Wife: 'What are you doing?'
Husband: Nothing.
Wife: 'Nothing...? You've been reading our marriage certificate for an hour.'
Husband: 'I was looking for the expiration date.'

A man died and arrived at the Pearly Gates. St. Peter greets him and says, "Welcome. Come walk with me and I'll show you where you'll be staying."As they're walking along the path, he notices clocks on the Golden Fence of Heaven. He asks St. Peter, "What are all those clocks for?"St. Peter replies, "They’re clocks for every person in the world. They click once for each time you lie."By the time they reach where the man is staying, he asks out of curiosity, "I didn't see any politicians’ clocks. Where are they kept?" St. Peter calmly replies, "People here use them as fans."

  1. Marilyn Struthers: I understand about the "Get Up and Gp button." Mine gets lost sometimes too.

  2. My giddy up n go has also gone. Today was/is a real lack-lustre day here. Just so tired of the heat and not a drop of rain in the Okanagan. Hope you're on the up and up tomorrow.
