TONIGHT’S AFTER SUPPER WALK ALONG THE PARK’S POND
No, no, no, I am determined not to start another post off with a weather report telling you it is again cloudy, cold, damp & wet. But I will tell you we are still having to wear our winter coats on some of our morning walks & I had the furnace running again to day in order to take the chill out of the air.
OUR HOSTAS ARE COMING ALONG NICELY
Recently retired TOM up there in that Alaska place has some good basic advice regarding the financial trials & tribulations of retirement. Tom's suggestion to a friend may have that friend on his way to less worry & more accountable money.
LOVE TO SEE BLUE SKIES WHETHER THEY ARE OVERHEAD OR REFLECTED IN A SWAMPY POOL OF FORESTED WATER
There are 4 photos of people’s pets on this PET FRIENDLY website. One of them you just might recognize:))
In case anyone missed it there is a comment in my Shout Box about my using a paragraph from one of my previous posts. A re-written paragraph I may add. Occasionally on a slow writing day or for whatever reason I may chose I will go back & pull up something I have written about previously over the years. I sometimes do the same with file photos. Subject matters are still current & with new readers always dropping by the content is always new to them. I am curious about something though. Wondering how readers feel about a Blogger sometimes using file photos or excerpts from previous posts. Does it fall under the lash of being repetitive or is it just an personal burr under someone’s saddle again. When I pull a paragraph, topic, or photo out of my own files I do so for a reason. Should a Blogger be required to add a disclaimer saying it is a file photo, or a paragraph from a previous post? Just curious. And just for the record……all words & photos for tonight’s post come fresh from tonight’s mind:))
Because of our recent cold wet weather we haven’t been doing very much in the rig but tonight with ‘feeling good’ sunny weather upon us again I slipped out & took a few photos of how our couch makes into a bed. With the press of a button it takes a smooth 15 seconds to have the couch made into a bed or vice versa. This is the slickest & most practical couch/bed we have ever had in any of our RV’s. A covered piece of foam behind the couch can easily be placed on top. Pheebs & I have been on it for a few scruffles & it seems comfortable even without the foam. My first night’s sleep on the bed will be the true test though.
COUCH IN NORMAL POSITION
COUCH CAN BE USED IN ANY POSITION FOR RECLINING –-- FOLDS DOWN INTO A MINI-BED
WITH EASE THE BOTTOM SECTION IS MANUALLY PULLED OUT (PRETTY DARN CUTE MODEL i HAVE TONIGHT I’D SAY)
CENTER PART LIFTS UP & CAN BE USED AS A FOOT REST, COFFEE TABLE, OR WHATEVER –-- BED FULLY DEPLOYED HAS LOTS OF ROOM FOR PHEEBS & I
AND THE BULK OF THE WORK IS DONE BY THIS SIMPLE LITTLE SWITCH IN THE COUCH ARM
We ended our day under clearing skies & temperatures over the next 2 days are predicted to rocket up into the 80’s. Can you hear me complaining about the heat related humidity already. I can but I will try to keep a lid on it best I can………………….
ON OUR WALK TONIGHT I SPOTTED THIS TWO HEADED CANADA GOOSE
GROANER’S CORNER:(( The balding middle-aged man asked his barber, "Why do I have to pay full price for a haircut -- there's so little of my hair left." "Well," said the barber, "actually I only charge a little for cutting it. What you're paying for mostly is my time searching for what little hair you have left."
