KELLY'S MOTHER IS HOME....MORNING TRAIL WALK....PENTAGON UFO REPORT SOON TO BE RELEASED

OUR JEEP RIDE THIS MORNING LED US BACK TO THE BANNOCKBURN CONSERVATION AREA AGAIN
It is a very fine line writers and bloggers walk each time they go public with their musings.  Over the many years I have been blogging, friendships have been made and friendships have been lost over things I have written or maybe even things I have not written.  It is easy for words and sayings to be misinterpreted, misunderstood, and misaligned but it is a chance we writers and bloggers take each time a word goes to print.  It is a fickle road we walk and it is not without its unfortunate and unsuspecting pitfalls.

A nice sunny morning to start the day but it clouded over by noon dropping our temperatures with a thump again.  All and all I would say it has been a cold April.  Just as cold doesn't work for me anymore nor does hot.  It is a narrow comfort zone of whimsical weather I live in nowadays and it's another one of those things where I put the blame squarely on this darn aging process.  Not everyone of course but I'm not everyone, so I will probably continue to complain about the hots and colds to the very end of my days.

I am very heartened to say I 'finally' have absolutely no idea what is going on politically south of the border anymore.  And I have to say I am feeling much better about things because of that.  My formula is simple, no television news, no internet news, and no printed media news.  I don't want to hear about it and I don't want to talk to anybody about it.  Not exactly the right way to deal with it perhaps but it's my way and I just got sick and tired of all the fighting, bickering, and arguing 24/7, and the toll it has taken on friends, families, and most all people in general.

I DID NOT SEE THE DUCK ON THE RIVER UNTIL I EDITED THIS PHOTO TONIGHT

MAYBE NEXT TIME HERE WE WILL CLIMB THESE OLD WOODEN STAIRS AND DO THE WHOLE TRAIL
It was early afternoon when, in the Jeep by myself, I made my way to Goderich's Dynacare Lab.  It was time for another PSA test. (prostate cancer) I should have the results of that test sometime tomorrow and I'm hoping my luck holds.

ALWAYS INTERESTING SMELLS ALONG THE WAY
Kelly's brother Peter, picked up their Mother at the hospital today and took her home where she will undergo some re-hab over the next little while.   Kelly is heading out Wednesday morning for Spencerport New York and will be with her Mother for a few weeks to help her along.  Pheebs and I will be holding down the fort here in Bayfield.  I see many gourmet peanut butter sandwiches in my future:))

SOME GRASSES JUST SEEM TO TASTE BETTER THAN OTHER GRASSES
AND, WE'RE BACK TO THE JEEP
Oh, and before we get to Groaner's Corner I suggest anyone who shares my interest in Unidentified Flying Objects (UFO''s) or Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon (UAP's) as they are now more commonly known, check the following link about an announcement to be released by the U.S. Government in June. Pentagon UFO Report  I have my fingers crossed that at least 'some' of the truth will finally come out.

SO WHY DID I HAVE A BACKYARD CAMPFIRE TODAY?? BECAUSE I COULD......'YAY GEORGE':))

GROANER'S CORNER:((  The bride, upon her engagement, went to her mother and said, "I've found a man just like Dad!"  Her mother replied, "So what do you want from me, sympathy?"
------------------------

Q: How can you tell when your at a redneck wedding?
A: When there's tobacco spit on both sides of the truck.
----------------------------
Diner: How do you explain this twig I found in my rice? Waiter: It stands to reason, sir. Our restaurant has branches everywhere.

UNDAUNTED, SHE INSISTED ON COFFEE AND PASTRIES

IT'S ALREADY TULIP TIME HERE IN SOUTHWESTERN ONTARIO
Quite a stark weather contrast between our Saturday morning and our Sunday morning.  No magic in the air today with a cold north wind chill factor driving our cloud-covered temps of  37F down to 28F.  Not a nice morning to be out and about this time of year.  Our Jeep ride took us around half a dozen familiar roads then home again.

WIND TURBINES WERE REALLY GROANING IN TODAY'S WIND
I GUESS THIS IS TRULY A WOOD BENCH SEAT
IN A FEW MONTHS THESE GRAIN SHUTES WILL BE BUSY TRANSFERRING GRAINS FROM FARM WAGONS TO SILOS
A RESTING FARM TRACTOR WAITS FOR THE BUSY DAYS AHEAD
With our house surrounded by cold air for the rest of the day, I never set foot outside with the exception of taking Pheebs for a brisk afternoon walk around the Park's pond.  If it wasn't for my reading hobby I don't know what I would do with myself on long cold inside days like this.

'OUT FOR A MORNING WALK WITH MY MOM'

A FEW FARMER'S ON THE LAND SATURDAY MORNING
IN LINE AND SOCIAL DISTANCING FOR BREAKFAST
GETTING ONES FACE INTO ONE'S BREAKFAST
It has been determined by the Cardiologist that Kelly's Mother suffered a significant heart attack early Friday morning.  She remains in hospital and is in true fighting spirit determined to get out of there just as fast as she can.

UNDAUNTED, SHE INSISTED HER SON PETER BRING HER COFFEE AND PASTRIES

Many times as I drive along with my best pal Pheebs on the seat beside me I  think how lucky I am to have such a great friend always with me in these difficult times.  I could not wish for a better companion as we wander about on our morning Jeep rides and walks.  We are made for each other and I think it must have been some kind of a miracle that we met nearly 10 years ago and have spent every single day together since.  We've never had an argument or a bad moment.  She never criticizes me for my mistakes nor laughs at my hapless follies.  She is patient when I am not and she is understanding when I am confused.  She helps me through my depressions and mood swings never slighting or mocking me for either one.  She is always positive with never a negative thought in her mind.  She has an encompassing happiness about her which is always there both day or night and she can light up anyone's day by just coming into their life.  Driving along thinking about things I often wish I was more like my dog and less like me...........

GROANER'S CORNER:((   Two elderly ladies were discussing the upcoming dance at the country club.  "We're supposed to wear something that matches our husband's hair, so I'm wearing black," said Mrs. Smith.  "Oh my," said Mrs. Jones, "I'd better not go."

“Did you hear the one about the woman who threw her toaster away because it kept burning the bread? She was black toast intolerant.”

What is the difference between an Irish wedding and an Irish funeral?  One less drunk.

---------------------------

Joe: Every night I take two quarters to bed with me.  Peter: Whatever for?  Joe: They are my sleeping quarters.
