Due to medical appointments and circumstances in both our lives, my good buddy Richard and I had not made it out for one of our twice-monthly Thursday morning coffee runs for a month or more. However, the stars finally aligned again and I picked Richard up this morning. It didn't take us long to cruise through McDonalds in Goderich and grab a couple coffees and carrot muffins to go. We had a lot of catching up to do because there had already been a lot of water under the bridge since the last time we were out. However, not missing a beat we picked up right where we left off last time with our in-depth conversation. Our travels on this cloudy 34F winter's morn took us northeast of Goderich over around the Ben Miller area and northeast of Bayfield.
I was home again close to noon. With slightly milder temps upon us, I grabbed my snow shovel and headed out into our backyard to open up some paths to both sheds and the burning barrel. I sure needed the exercise and it took me close to an hour to get that heavy wet snow moved but at least now the pathways are finally shoveled in and it will be easier for me to keep them open unless we get another big overnight snow dump like we did in early December. DRIVING CONDITIONS WERE GOOD THIS MORNING WITH BARE DRY ROADS AND UNLIMITED VISIBILITY
| I WISHED WE WOULD HAVE A BIG THAW TO MELT ALL THIS SNOW SO I COULD GET A JUMP START ON THE SPRING CLEANUP BY GATHERING UP ALL THESE BROKEN BRANCHES FROM THE BIG SNOWSTORM THREE WEEKS AGO |
Another sign from Kelly. We have a slightly elevated doggy stand that holds two metal dishes. One for food and one for water. I prefer a porcelain bowl for water so that sits beside the stand. I use one metal dish for Pheebs food and the other dish sits empty. At the kitchen counter yesterday I glanced back over to Pheebs dish stand between the kitchen and living room to see if she had eaten all her breakfast. She had. But I noticed immediately there was only one metal dish in the stand where moments before there had been two as per usual. What!! Where was the other dish?? Had I taken it to the sink to wash? No!! Had I set it on the kitchen counter or table? No!! Looking all around I could not locate the missing dish anywhere. I was convinced Kelly had something to do with this:)) Later in the afternoon, I went over to pick up the remaining dish to put Pheebs supper in and guess what. The missing bowl was sitting inside the other bowl and that is why I didn't see it and couldn't find it. I was convinced more than ever that it was a sign from Kelly because I would not have, and did not set that metal bowl inside the other bowl. I had absolutely no reason to do that. Zero, Zilch, no reason!! Like I said to Pheebs, "I think Mom's playing tricks on us guys again":))

| AND, THIS IS WHAT I SAW.....THE MISSING BOWL IS SITTING INSIDE THE BOWL ON THE LEFT AND 'I DID NOT PUT IT THERE' AND I'M QUITE SURE PHEEBS DIDN'T EITHER |
GROANER'S CORNER:(( Tony had just finished reading a new book entitled, 'You Can Be The Man of Your House.' He stormed out to his wife in the kitchen and announced, 'From now on, you need to know that I am the man of this house and my word is Law. You will prepare me a gourmet meal tonight, and when I'm finished eating my meal, you will serve me a sumptuous dessert. After dinner, you are going to go upstairs with me and do as I say. Afterwards, you are going to draw me a bath so I can relax. You will wash my back and towel me dry and bring me my robe. Then, you will massage my feet and hands. Then tomorrow, guess who's going to dress me and comb my hair?' His Sicilian wife Gina replied, "The funeral director would be my first guess."----------------------------------------
"I hope you didn't take it personally, Reverend," an embarrassed woman said after a church service, "when my husband walked out during your sermon.""I did find it rather disconcerting," the preacher replied. "It's not a reflection on you," insisted the church goer. "Ralph has been been walking in his sleep since childhood."

My girlfriend asked me for something that goes 0 to 200 in 2 seconds for her birthday.
Apparently, she wasn’t asking for a bathroom scale.
