I NERVOUSLY WAITED OUTSIDE THE BANK IN THE GETAWAY CAR WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING

THIS FARMER MONDAY NIGHT WAS WORKING LATE OUT IN HIS FIELD BAILING HAY
It was 8:45 on another mighty fine warm summer's evening when, with both front windows down and the sunroof open,  Subie and I headed quietly out of the Park Monday night, and turned east slowly heading down Bayfield River Road.  Ten minutes later, I was at our country road walking spot on Stirling's Line just as the sun dipped below the horizon.  What an enjoyable walk up the country road and back.  I was finally back home about 10 with full intentions of heading back out to Stirling's Line for another hour of stargazing later.  I never made it.  Fell asleep in my recliner:((
I SAW A CLUSTER OF LIGHTS OUT IN A FIELD AND FIGURED CORRECTLY THAT IT WAS A FARMER OUT 'BURNING THE MIDNIGHT OIL'
 A FIERY SUNSET

With ongoing construction in downtown Goderich confusing folks, our good neighbor Monica was unable to reach her bank last week, so this morning I drove Monica to her bank in Goderich on another lovely sunshiny morning.  After the bank, I took her for a leisurely drive down around the harbor and out to Rotary Cove.  Monica, delighted, said the last time she had been down to the harbor years ago, Rotary Cove never even existed. I think it had maybe been back in the 1970s when the town of Goderich decided to expand its waterfront southwards for about three-quarters of a mile.  It was a big project and easily left Goderich with the finest beach and shoreline on all of Lake Huron.   And especially their mile-long boardwalk close along Lake Huron's picturesque shoreline.

WITH MONICA'S DISABILITY STICKER WE WERE ABLE TO GET A PARKING SPACE RIGHT UP CLOSE TO THE BANK....WHILE ELDERLY MONICA WENT INTO THE BANK WITH A NOTE SAYING, 'GIVE ME ALL YOUR MONEY', I NERVOUSLY WAITED OUTSIDE IN THE GETAWAY CAR WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING
Although not quite as oppressively hot and humid today, it was still enough to keep me inside.  However, I'm hoping to be out and about attending to yardwork in the next few days when temps and humidity are predicted to drop back into the doable 70s.  I am so much looking forward to cooler temperatures. and getting myself active again.

GROANER'S CORNER:(( A wife went to the police station with her next-door neighbor to report that her husband was missing. The policeman asked for a description.  She said, "He's 35 years old, 6 foot 4, has dark eyes, dark wavy hair, an athletic build, weighs 185 pounds, is soft-spoken, and is good to the children."  The next-door neighbor protested, "Your husband is 5 foot 4, chubby, bald, has a big mouth, and is mean to your children."  The wife replied, "Yes, but who wants HIM back?"

My wife said she wanted to see "Fifty Shades Of Grey".  So I showed her a picture of her hair.

One day two blind men started fighting.
Pretty soon a crowd surrounded them.
Then one of the members of the crowd yelled out "I bet 50 dollars on the one with the knife."  Both men ran away.

  3. Absolutely loved the "mother nature Baking baby" - laughed out loud. First thing I've said today.! As my hair is already dripping with sweat (ugh) - am sending it to several friends. Ready for you to send us some cooler/less humid Canadian air.
