ANOTHER PERFECT ARIZONA WEATHER DAY:))

DSC_0032

THESE TWO BEST PALS ARE SURE GOING TO MISS EACH OTHER WHEN WE LEAVE IN A FEW WEEKS

I am generally up around 4 a.m. every morning and it is an enjoyably quiet time of day for me.  With the computer on my lap I particularly like looking around and seeing all the doggy guys sound asleep in their own little spots.  Pheebs on my bed beside me.  Motor on Kelly’s chair with her toys, Pearce on a doggy bed in the far corner of our slide and Gleeson stretched out on the living room floor near the steps.  They are a happy contented bunch of snoozy heads and it warms my heart to see that.

Guess I got this Reno/Renal procedure thing mixed up again in Sunday’s post.  It’s the Renal Ultra-Sound procedure I am hoping to have done Wednesday.  The Reno gram one is the procedure that injects a radioactive tracer into the renal system.  Not recommended for big cry babies like me.

Had an email question wondering if I ask people’s permission before taking their photos.  My answer to that is ‘no’ because doing so automatically makes it a ‘posed’ photo and I have no interest in that type of photography.  I enjoy candidly catching people just being their natural selves.  In April last year I was asked by another reader about my thoughts on taking candid photos of people.  You can read my opinion about that in a post entitled MY TAKE ON CANDID PHOTOGRAPHY My thoughts begin with the 4th paragraph down.

Not too often I get through a day without taking a photo of something but today was one of those days.  Woke up at 3 a.m. & spent the rest of the the day trying to remain in the world of consciousness.  Just kinda hid under my cowboy hat all day.  Today’s pics were taken Sunday morning.

Forgot to mention in last night’s post that we plan to be back at the Ranch near the end of February for a few weeks.  Those plans are still a bit up in the air but we are working on them.

Our Florida thoughts have kinda drifted out to sea and we have swung our thoughts and attention back into the Southwest.  Oh tis a confusing life the Bayfield Bunch lives at times but with the flashes of excitement we occasionally get ourselves into it keeps the boredom blues away.  We always seem to have an iron or two in the fire for the future.  And, that keeps us on our toes and thinking.  Maybe next week it will occur to us to buy a Hippopotamus farm:))

The Last Paragraph:  Have you ever noticed I talk too much.  I notice it all the time.  Well, on the computer I do anyway.  Whenever I sit down with my laptop I just seem compelled to blabber myself out onto the keyboard regardless of what pops into my mind.  Well, to be honest….not everything.  Gotta show some discretion….right:))

God, grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked anyway,
The good fortune to run into the ones that I do, and the eyesight to tell the difference.

  2. Love that last photo of Pheebs and Motor sleeping head to head. Good luck with your procedure. I kinda liked that you called it "Reno"...sounds more fun that way (until you mentioned the dye, that is).

  11. On the issue of about any possible future medical issues:If you are in the Southwest where you are now or even close to it, and you have a medical necessity to go back to Canada, Tucson Airport is a pretty fine place with easy access.

Wouldn't it be less expensive and a whole lot more satisfying to continue with your stays around the area and fly from there rather than go to Florida and have to scurry back for any procedures?
