TODAY I NOTICED A SPRING IN MY STEP

I'M GUESSING THIS LITTLE CHAP AT A BELTED KINFISHER SEEN AT GODERICH'S NORTH HARBOR
From my comfy recliner I could see early morning sunshine tickling our tall pine tree tops.  Outside thermometer said it was 52F.  An acceptably nice start to another July day.  Needing a few cleaning supplies for the rig's exterior clean-up Pheebs and I headed off to Goderich's Canadian Tire Store.  While there I checked out a 'rear-view camera' system for our Winnebago Spirit.  So many cameras on the internet market with so many different options it's confusingly hard to pick one.  So I didn't.  Half a dozen other stops in Goderich looking for a Chlorox cleaner I never did find then it was down to the harbor for a drive out to Rotary Cove.
LAKE HURON LOOKED SO REFRESHING THIS MORNING IT ALMOST MADE ME WANT TO CLAMBER DOWN THOSE ROCKS AND TAKE A DIP

Home again I finished waxing the Chevy truck cab and did a bit of outside cleaning on the rig.  We put the two year old awning down to have a look and it's in perfect condition.  By 1 o'clock I had to shut myself down because of the intensifying heat and humidity.  Probably won't get much done Wednesday because our days are getting progressively hotter again.  They say it will feel like a hundred plus here by the week-end.  Not nice:((
THE RIG'S AWNING IS IN GREAT SHAPE
My weight continues to drop and and I am down seven pounds now to 197.  I attribute that to the many changes I have made in my eating habits over the past couple months focusing especially on the reduction of sugar and carbohydrates.  I noticed a spring in my step this morning as I walked across the Walmart parking lot in Goderich.  Been slowly noticing other weight loss benefits as well but for today it was the spring in my step:))
GROANER'S CORNER:((
A businessman on his deathbed called his friend and said, "Bill, I want you to promise me that when I die you will have my remains cremated."
"And what," his friend asked, "do you want me to do with your ashes?"
The businessman said, "Just put them in an envelope and mail them to the Internal Revenue Service. Write on the envelope, "Now, you have everything."

  2. The camera that you get is your choice I will suggest you concentrate on the screen size
Most of the ones used a small screen it's a pain and a strain to see
Right around $50 you can get one with a 6 or 7 inch screen and hardwired to key on power
That way you can turn it on when you back up or you're towing your jeep

  3. Congrats on the weight loss. I sure wish I had stayed at 195 instead of adding carbs and now weighing 242.

  5. Great pictures of the kingfisher. Definitely him. Wish our temps were ever at 52. It's hotter here in Virginia than in Florida. And has been since May. How can that be?? Envying your spring in your step. I'm dragging. Hot humid sluggish....

  6. Congrats on the diet change. Hope it is also helping to control the diabetes. Looks like you made a great choice on picking that RV. If the awning is in such great shape likely the rest is as well.
