SPRING PLANTING IS A BUSY TIME OF YEAR FOR AREA FARMERS |
Well, where do I start with what happened to my Friday night post, which incidentally Blogger has now allowed to be published. In a nutshell, it was not a problem with me, or anyone else's post, it was a problem Blogger itself had. They sent me an email last night basically saying they took down my post because its content didn't comply with their rules and standards. Hogwash I thought!! My post was no different from all the other thousands of posts I have written over the years. (oops, that's not saying much for my posts is it) Then, this morning another email arrived from Blogger basically saying, 'sorry it was our fault' and we have now allowed you to publish your blog. Well, that was good enough for me and my 'happy camper' status was restored. Kelly had seen that email before I did so she re-published the post. In order for my re-published Friday night post to be at the top of my blog column, it was necessary for her to delete the 4 previous short Friday night posts regarding the problem I was having. I want to thank the people who commented on those posts and especially those few who were also experiencing similar Blogger programs. That at least told me it wasn't just me that Blogger had targeted. And thanks to Bob for dropping a joke into the Groaner's Corner that was floating around somewhere out there in cyberlimbo:))
Okay, so now that my world has been restored in a reasonably reasonable manner let's get on with Saturday's post. Oh, one last thing about Friday night. Pheebs and I did take the Jeep out to our 'starry night spot' but with my mind in a funk I messed up the half dozen crescent Moon shots I took. And it looks like it's going to be cloudy tonight so our night venture is a probable no go:((

SPRINGTIME RAILWAY |
We've had a few really nice weather-related Saturday mornings this Spring but I think this one today topped the list. We took our usual route up through and around Goderich. Almost all of my pics this morning were 'drive-by shootings' taken right from the driver's seat. We had a couple stops along the way for some leg stretching. Drove by two of our favorite trail areas but the parking lots were filled with weekenders so we didn't stop. We were home by 10:30.

Anything that might, and likely is, out there would not be a 'threat' else they would have attacked by now given Roswell was 74 years ago, they've had plenty of time to invade.... This could also explain the rush to inoculate the globe too.
ReplyDeleteHere's an interesting article for you, Al. I have never heard of this before. Forerunners to all to RV now. https://www.floridamemory.com/learn/exhibits/photo_exhibits/tincans/tincans2.php?fbclid=IwAR3LxjN4z6kSjL10hw2XYyVsFogiY4jYnCsgPjZf7Cj7oTBrRinLggAlVWo
ReplyDeleteCouldn't get this one to open Ann:((
DeleteSorry, Al. I can't get it to work like this, but you can copy it and put it in Google search and it will open. It's about some of the first campers in Florida called Tin Can club back in the 1920's. I thought you might find it interesting.
DeleteAnother great group of photos! Here's hoping you get down to the southwest this fall.
ReplyDeleteI read that article but it does not give me hope that the border will open. I hope we can travel in October but I am not holding my breathe.
