IT WAS A QUIET COFFEE FOR RICHARD AND I THIS MORNING

 STANDING ON THE DOCK OF THE BAY

It only took about 5 minutes for the rain to start falling after I backed the Jeep out of Bayfield's car wash this morning.  Oh well, at least I got the mud clumps off.  It was 10 o'clock when Pheebs and I made our way up Richard, Gayle, and Bubba's long driveway.  Pheebs and Bubba hadn't seen each other for a while and because they get along so well they were like a couple of furry little crazios flying around all over the place.  It was a quiet indoor coffee for Richard and I this morning.

With overcast skies and the threat of more rain, the rest of our day didn't amount to much.  Pheebs and I hung out in the house waiting for sunnier days and dryer forest trails ahead.

GROANER'S CORNER:((   Two boys were arguing when the teacher entered the room.  The teacher says, "Why are you arguing?"  One boy answers, "We found a 10 dollar bill and decided to give it to the person who tells the biggest lie."  "You should be ashamed of yourselves," said the teacher, "When I was your age, I didn't even know what a lie was."  The boys looked at each other then gave the 10 dollar bill to the teacher.

My wife: You need to do more chores around the house.  Me: Can we change the subject?  My wife: Okay. More chores around the house need to be done by you.

Paddy and his missus are lying in bed listening to the next-door neighbor's dog barking. It had been barking for hours and hours.  Suddenly, Paddy jumps out of bed and says, "I've had enough of this," and goes downstairs.  Paddy finally comes back up to bed and his wife says, "The dog is still barking. What have you been doing?"  Paddy says, "I've put their dog in our yard - now we'll see how they like it!"
