|I'M GUESSING OF COURSE THAT THESE MIGHT BE YOUNG FEMALE ROSE BREASTED GROSBEAKS OF WHICH WE HAVE FOUR IN OUR FRONT YARD|
In our RVing years it was about this time in August when the first inklings of Winter's travel thoughts began to stir and I always so much looked forward to that. How nice that shifting of thoughts to future travel adventures. And adventures they were too as thoughts of known and unknown destinations lay ahead. Our travels from home here in Ontario to the Great American Southwest were for us like traveling to a different Planet where so many things were unlike here in Ontario. And it was that very significant change that I found so appealing. Totally different scenery was always a biggy for me as well as the almost complete change in lifestyle of living on the road. Yes, we were always glad to get home in the Spring but it was this time of year I loved best when my thoughts began looking forward to that much anticipated change of boondocking lifestyle. Oh how nice it was being away from our freezing cold winters for at least four to six months each year.
Rain began Tuesday evening, kept up through the night, and stayed with us all day. Aside from a drive into Bayfield and back this morning, Pheebs and I didn't get too far today. We did see Libby sitting at the Bayfield Garage awaiting her 'not starting' diagnosis.
