Wednesday night, after posting the blog, I headed out to my walking spot and watched the sun going down behind a heavy cloud bank to the west. From my Tower Line Road spot, looking out over the landscape, I can always see three communication towers with red flashing lights somewhere around Clinton. So, as the skies darkened, I set off for Clinton in search of those towers. Well, I can say with certainty, that none of the towers were located at Tim Horton's coffee shop, but I did find myself in their drive-thru snagging a coffee and donut to go. A low-calorie donut of course. Happy to say that I located all three towers, with one of them halfway between Clinton and Seaforth. It was a beautiful night with clouds scudding across the nearly half Moon. On my way home, I stopped at my walking spot to see if I could spot any constellations. Sagitarius and Scorpius were the only ones visible, low in the southwest. Always so nice to be standing out under the stars. Well, when they're visible, that is. Due to a faulty SD card in my camera, I lost my Wednesday night sunset photos. I have replaced that card with a new one.

GROANER'S CORNER:(( Here's a good exercise tip.....Begin by standing on a comfortable surface, where you have plenty of room at each side. With a 5-lb potato sack in each hand, extend your arms straight out from your sides and hold them there as long as you can. Try to reach a full minute, and then relax. Each day, you'll find that you can hold this position for just a bit longer. After a couple of weeks, move up to 10-lb potato sacks. Then try 50-lb potato sacks, and then eventually try to get to where you can lift a 100-lb potato sack in each hand and hold your arms straight for more than a full minute. (I'm at this level.) After you feel confident at that level, put a potato in each of the sacks.

Larry's barn burned down, and his wife, Susan, called the insurance company. Susan told the insurance company, "We had that barn insured for fifty thousand, and I want my money." The agent replied, "Whoa there, just a minute, Susan. Insurance doesn't work quite like that. We will ascertain the value of what was insured and provide you with a new one of comparable worth." There was a long pause before Susan replied, "Then I'd like to cancel the policy on my husband."
