I STILL DO NEED A BREAK FROM MYSELF ONCE AND AWHILE

I THINK THESE ROLLING GREEN HILLS MIGHT BE PLANTED WITH NEXT YEAR'S WINTER WHEAT
There was a twinge of cold in the northerly breeze this morning as I made my way along the gravel road at my walking spot.  A bushline of trees to the northwest is slowly beginning to take on the early stages of Autumn's magical colors.  Usually at this time of year, Autumn would be at its peak and slightly beyond.  Every nice day now thankfully shortens winter's harshness by another twenty-four hours.

NICE COLORS ON MY WALKING ROAD THIS MORNING

Following my walk, it was straight home to fire up my gardening tools and get right at the ongoing project at hand....revamping the outside yards.  I'm trying to get as much done as I can before the nasty weather sets in and shuts all the enjoyable yard work down for possibly as long as the next miserable six months.

THE CORN HARVEST HAS BEGUN

HADN'T SEEN ANY COWS ON THIS FARM NEAR OUR PARK FOR A FEW YEARS, SO IT WAS NICE TO SEE THEY HAVE COWS AGAIN

Woodsy headed back to Stratford for a few days early this evening.  She said she needed a break, and I agreed with her.  I quite often need a break from myself as well.  I usually get that break when I am in an unconscious state, such as napping or sleeping. Okay, so she really didn't say that, but I still do need a break from myself once and awhile:))  As soon as I publish this post I'm heading out into the countryside to have me a look at the stars.................

 A FEW SHADOWY LEAF CRITTERS

Tuesday night, we caught ourselves another beautiful Lake Huron sunset at Bayfield's beach.

GROANER'S CORNER:(( There was a young Scottish boy called Angus who decided to try life in Australia. He found an apartment in a small block and settled in. After a couple weeks, his mother called from Aberdeen to see how her son was doing in his new life. I'm fine, ' Angus said. 'But there are some really strange people living in these apartments. One woman cried all day long, another lies on her floor moaning, and there is a guy next door to me who bangs his head on the wall all the time.' 'Well, ma laddie,' says his mother, 'I suggest you don't associate with people like that.' 'Oh,' says Angus, 'I don't, Mom, I don't. No, I just stay inside my apartment all day and night, playing my bagpipes.'

John: I got this great new hearing aid the other day.
Mary: Are you wearing it now?
John: Yup. Cost me four thousand dollars, though. But it's top of the line.
Mary: What kind is it?
John: Twelve-thirty.

Mindy: "I finally fixed that annoying noise in my car."
Missy: "Really? How did you do it?'
Mindy: "I opened the door and pushed him out."

Husband: Babe, after work, I had an accident. Sabrina took me to the hospital. After various tests, they said I was in a bad state with several severe dislocations, and multiple facial injuries. Also, they will have to amputate my right leg.
Wife: Who is Sabrina?
