I DIDN'T WANT TO BE IN BIG TROUBLE

WE GOT GATOR FROGS HERE:))
Always nice to wake up and see sunshine pouring through the window onto the living room floor.  It kinda gets things started off on the right foot.  Sometimes, days get started off on the left foot, but that's okay, my feet are ambidextrous.  With temps a touch below freezing, and a breeze, I skipped my morning walk again, and headed straightaway outside and fired up my garden tools.  Lots to do.  For the most part, the word 'multi-tasking' is not a friendly term for me anymore, except when I am outside working away at all my little hobby projects.  I am in my element as I enjoyably bounce around between all my various yard tasks.  And, once again, today was no exception.  Sunshine, fresh air, warming temps, birds singing in the trees, chipmunks scattering about, and the sounds of trickling water over a small waterfall from our front yard frog pond.  Yup, I put the pond pump in yesterday.  All are good and I'm a hap-hap-happy camper:))

As busy as I was outside, I was even a bit busier in the house for a while, too.  Lorraine was due to roll in later this afternoon so that meant I had to get myself on the end of the Dyson (vacuum cleaner) and get the floors done.  Had some dishes to do, a kitchen sink to clean, plus a half dozen other little household chores.  I didn't want to be in big trouble when she got here.  And, somewhere along the line, I managed to get a load of laundry done too.  Not only was I a hap-hap-happy little camper today, I was a busy little camper as well:))

GROANER'S CORNER:(( My mom has a lead foot, so I was not surprised when a highway patrolman pulled us over as we were driving along the freeway. Hoping to get off with a warning, Mom tried to appear shocked when he walked up to the car.  "I have never been stopped like this before," she said to the officer.   "What do they usually do, ma'am," he asked. "Shoot the tires out" my Mom said!!

Mahatma Gandhi often walked barefoot which produced an impressive set of callouses on his feet. He also ate very little, making him rather frail and with his odd diet he often suffered from bad breath. This made him a super calloused fragile mystic hexed with halitosis.

-  Did you know an unbreakable toy is always useful for breaking other toys!!

Children were called upon a classroom to make sentences with words chosen by the teacher. The teacher smiled when Jack, a slow learner, raised his hand to participate during the challenge of making a sentence with the words "Defeat," "Defense," "Deduct," and "Detail."  Jack stood thinking for a while, all eyes focused on him while his classmates awaited his reply. Smiling, he then proudly shouted out, "Defeat of deduct went over defense before detail."

  3. You are an inspiration. Some days I have to force myself out of my chair, get outside and do something ... but when I do, then it feels really good. Especially in winter or even spring days when it's still cold outside. There's always something to be done, and it always feels good to do. :-) Thank you.
