Not a good weather day. Cold and wet. A short drive into Bayfield and back showed me that the lake is finally free of ice. Home again, I cleaned the inside living room windows, snoozed, and finished my book, Anne of Green Gables. I will now slide effortlessly into the second book of the series, Ann of Avonlea. As I've said in a previous post, I've read this series of books by author Lucy Maude Montgomery a few years ago and liked them so much that I am now reading them all over again. In this world of madness that we are all caught up in right now, I find these books not only a wonderful escape but also a necessary one.

Love your photos and fun stuff ... but I also like your sentiment about all of us needing escape or peace right now. How hard is it to be kind? I just don't get it. Thank you for the peace you bring us.
