ReplyDeleteChristmas of 1962 - I received a little RCA transistor radio in a black leather case. And, "Listen to the Rhythm of the Falling Rain" was the 1st song I ever heard when I turned it on. It was a horrible winter that year & I spent many a night listening to that little radio on my pillow & dreaming of far away places. That song became a hit that winter & it was played a lot - I still remember all the words.
ReplyDeleteI also remember all the words to that great song! Now it'll be in my head all day...great!!!!
