AND I WELCOME THAT

Rain came in the night and stayed for most of the morning, leaving the rest of the day dull and gloomy.  Knowing everything outside would be wet and muddy, the only time I slipped out the door was when I topped up one of the bird feeders.  So, I settled back in my chair, turned on the YouTube channel on my TV, and watched nine separate people talking about their near-death (NDE) eperiences.  I have read many books on this subject, and now, on YouTube, I can see and hear these people, and many others, tell their stories. I find it fascinating as well as educational.  It can certainly open one's mind to the realities around us, and I welcome that.

GROANER'S CORNER:(( One day an employee came in to work with both of his ears bandaged. When his boss asked him what happened, he explained: "Yesterday I was ironing a shirt when the phone rang, and I accidentally answered the iron instead of the phone!" "Well," the boss said, "that explains one ear, but what about the other?" "They called back!"

I’ve been feeling a bit moody & run down recently, so I googled my symptoms to see what I have. Kids…I have kids!

My grandson Jim found a penny in the grass and proudly displayed it to me.
"What good is it?" I said, "You can't buy anything with it." "Yes I can," Jim replied promptly. "I can buy a dream in a wishing well."

A little girl, dressed in her Sunday best, was running as fast as she could, trying not to be late for Bible class. As she ran, she prayed, "Dear Lord, please don't let me be late! Dear Lord, please don't let me be late!"
As she was running and praying, she tripped and fell, getting her clothes dirty and tearing her dress. She got up, brushed herself off, and started running again. Again, she prayed, "Dear Lord, please don't let me be late!...and don't shove me again either!!"
