HALLOWEEN LOCATIONS DURING OUR RVING YEARS

HAVING NOT TAKEN ANY PHOTOS THIS MORNING, I SLIPPED OVER TO  MY NEIGHBORS ANDREW AND SHEILA'S CREATIVE FRONT YARD
I think this November 1st will have to go down in the weather annals as one of the finest weather days for this date ever.  Full sunshine, no wind, and 66F.  Some years we have snow by now.  I was even accompanied by a few little yellow Butterflies on my walk this morning.  Now, how nice is that.  We have been very lucky so far with October turning in a fine performance with all its warm sunny days.  And yes, I remembered to turn my clocks back last night.  Well, fancy that:))

My outside time was again spent raking leaves and taking another trailer load down to the Park's recycling area, or as we often refer to it...the dump.  If skies remain clear into evening, I'll likely head out to my walking road and then over to my night sky spot.  With no Moon, it should be dark enough to see a few things in the inky black night sky.  Depending on the weather of course, any one of these nightly drives could be the last one until next Spring sometime.

I had intended to include a little blurb in last night's post about where the Bayfield Bunch had spent some of their Halloween nights through the RVing years.  Of course I forgot to put that paragraph in, so here they are::  2006 - ?? 2007- Ellis, Kansas. 2008 - Bayfield:((  2009 - Columbus, New Mexico.  2010 - In Bayfield:(( 2011 - Santa Rosa, New Mexico.  2012, 2013, 2014, at our house in Congress, Arizona.  2015 - Capital Reef State Park, Utah.  2016 - Visiting Aunt Jean in Sarasota, Florida, before heading west. 2017, 2018, and 2019 - Bayfield:((  And that was it for Halloween nights during our RVing years.

SNAPPED A FEW PICS ON MY WAY BACK FROM THE RECYCLING AREA, AND THIS IS THE SOUTH END OF THE PARK'S CLUBHOUSE

GROANER'S CORNER:((  Unexpected cold snaps had destroyed the buds on a man's peach tree for two years in a row. This spring, he was ready. He replanted the sapling in a large box, mounted it on wheels, and put the tree in the garage whenever the temperature dropped. One warm April day, the man was wheeling the tree out into the yard, and he stopped to give his  dog a drink from the garden hose. A neighbor watched the scene with amusement. "Frank," he finally commented, "you're the only man I know who walks his tree and waters his dog!"

Mary comes home rather late. “Oh, sweetheart,” she called, “your car’s on Maple Street.”
“Why didn’t you bring it home?” her husband asked. “Couldn’t, she said. “It’s too dark out there to find all the parts.”
