An okay day folks. I spent most of it in the backyard focused on my big Spring clean-up. It was a very busy fire pit I had going. A lot of old memories went up in smoke and into the garbage bins today. More to go tomorrow.......

It was a productively okay day for Lorraine and I. We took all the old curtains down in the living room. I busied myself cleaning the living room windows while Woodsy busied herself on the end of her Dyson vacuum cleaner. As soon as the sun broke through the clouds in the afternoon and skies began to clear, we were out the door and into the metal shed out back deciding what needed to be taken to the fire pit, what had to be place into the recycling bins, and what stuff needed to be put into the garbage bins. Oh, and what stuff needed to go to St Vincent de Paul in Goderich. We made progress and put a sizeable dent into the overall clean-up. Keeping our minds busy was of overall importance this past week, following Pheebs' passing. And again, a big thank you to everyone. There has been a lot of caring expressed, and both Lorraine and I so much appreciate all the kind words. I will have more to say about Monday and the following days in a future post.
| A BUSY FRIDAY MORNING CLEANING WINDOWS AND WOODWORK |
Thank you each and every one for your kind comments, words, and caring thoughts regarding Pheebs' passing. Your comforting words truly come from the heart. It has been a few difficult days, both mentally and physically, and especially physically. More about that in another post. When we had Max and Checkers put to sleep 14 years go, I poured all my grief into my blog for days, and I am determined not to do that this time. I feel it's unfair to readers. Coincidentally, it was the exact same day, April 28th, all those years ago, that we had to have Max put to sleep. I hope to be back in the swing of things in the coming days. Not to worry, I will come out of this stronger than ever. LOOKING OUT OVER LAKE HURON FROM BAYFIELD'S PIONEER PARK THIS MORNING
