A MONTH FROM NOW MY FAVORITE TIME OF THE YEAR WILL BE DRAWING NEAR

SUMMER WILDFLOWERS FILL THE DITCHES ALONGSIDE MANY AREA COUNTRY ROADS
A beautiful summer morn with a cooling breeze coming in across Lake Huron's clear waters from the northwest.  Pheebs and I did our country road walk before lazily jeeping our way around a few quiet country roads.  Although my body was feeling its age again, my mind was acutely attuned to Mother Nature's splendor all around us.  With my favorite SiriusXM instrumental music playing in the background and my best Pal in the front seat beside me it all came together making for a very special feeling morning.  These morning walks and jeep rides with Pheebs have for quite a while now become the very much most best part of my days.

IT WAS A SPECIAL FEELING MORNING

It was thirty years ago this week-end that Kelly and I first met in a little coffee shop near Highway 401 close to Doon Ontario.  We have come a long way in these past three decades and our love for each other has remained unwaveringly strong.  In my nearly seventy-nine years I have never been with another single person for this long.  Kelly is truly an exceptionally amazing person.

A NICELY LANDSCAPED FRONT FARMYARD

Well, next month at this time we will already be over halfway through the first week of September.  My favorite time of the year draws near.  It seems only last week that our May 24th weekend was upon us.
We are off to London's Victoria Hospital in the morning and just in time.  Kelly's itching has returned with a vengeance overnight and today.  With no treatments for two weeks, the toxins have built up in her blood again.  We may have to return to London several times next week and the week after that to get that toxin level back down to a manageable level again.  Frustrated with no word from the liver transplant team yet she emailed her liver doctor again this morning.

Al's Music Box:)) I Can Help by Billy Swan from the album 'I Can Help'.  1974.  This one takes me back to late December 1974 sitting in a Vernon British Columbia pub by myself.  Listening to this song, I later that night made the decision to leave my favorite province.  In a few days, I was on the road making my way back to Ontario.  I never again made it back to my favorite Province.
GROANER'S CORNER:((
Two elderly ladies meet at the launderette after not seeing one another for some time. After inquiring about each other's health, one asked how the other's husband was doing.  "Oh! Ted died last week. He went out to the garden to dig up a cabbage for dinner, had a heart attack and dropped down dead right there in the middle of the vegetable patch!"  "Oh dear! I'm so very sorry," replied her friend. "What did you do?"  "Opened a can of peas instead."

You might be a redneck if......

Motel 6 turns off the lights when they see you coming.

There are more dishes in your sink than in your cabinets.

You think a turtleneck is a key ingredient in soup.

You've ever stood in line to get your picture taken with a freak of nature.

Your anniversary present was getting the septic tank pumped.

Your local ambulance has a trailer hitch.

You watch cartoons long after your kids get bored.

You think the French Riviera is a foreign car.

You think you are an entrepreneur because of the "Dirt for Sale" sign in the front yard.

You're still scalping tickets after the concert is over.
