CRAWLED UNDER MY SECURITY BLANKET

BUNDLED UP AT THE BEACH ON A COLD RAINY DAY AT GODERICH'S ROTARY COVE
Needing to pick up a prescription at Walmart, Pheebs and I headed off to Goderich this morning in a spritzy rain.  A usual coffee to go at McDonalds' and down to the harbor and beach areas we went.  Snapped a few pics and headed for Walmart.  Lots of holiday shoppers in there milling about.  I was glad to not only get out of the store in one piece but out of the frantic Wallyworld parking lot without getting all smashed up as well.  Cars going every which-a-way.  From there we followed our windshield wipers all the way home, came into the house, locked the doors, pulled down the shades, and crawled under my security blanket in the closet.  The day was done.

GROANER'S CORNER:(( One day a man spotted a lamp by the roadside. He picked it up, rubbed it vigorously, and a genie appeared.  "I'll grant you your fondest wish," the genie said.  The man thought for a moment, then said, "I want a spectacular job, a job that no man has ever succeeded at or has ever even dared try."  "Poof!" said the genie. "You're a housewife."

Did anyone see the joke I posted recently about my spine?  It was about a weak back.

Hospital regulations require a wheel chair for patients being discharged. However, while working as a student aide, Sam found one elderly gentleman already dressed and sitting on the bed with a suitcase at his feet, who insisted he didn't need Sam's help to leave the hospital. After a chat about rules being rules, he reluctantly let Sam wheel him to the elevator. On the way down Sam asked him if his wife was meeting him. I don't know, he said. She is still upstairs in the bathroom changing out of her hospital gown.

Shut Up and Trouble were walking down a path. Trouble got lost. So, Shut Up went to a police officer. The police officer asked, "What's your name?"  He answered, "Shut Up."  He asked again "What's your name?"  "Shut Up."  The police officer asked, "Are you looking for trouble?!"  "Yeah, I lost him down a path about two miles back."

  4. I know you are interested in music and love to read. Yesterday evening, in Yuma AZ, William Earl-Mayorga Aken...aka Bill Aken...aka Zane Ashton passed on to his new life. I recommend his autobiography Carry Your Own Guitar. He was a member of the Wrecking Crew. But his story was more than about music. He was the first Caucasian child in CA that the court allowed to be adopted by a Latino couple. He had a varied and interesting life. Blessings to you and Kelly.
