I ALWAYS LOVE SEEING SENIORS OUT ENJOYING THEIR DAY

 A FOGGY MORNING ALONG THE SHORES OF LAKE HURON THIS MORNING

 Just me in the Subaru on this cloudy Friday morning, heading to a 9:30 appointment with my Nurse Practitioner.  I was concerned about the stomach area pains I had been having since being in the Stratford Hospital a month ago and up until a couple weeks ago.  She had a medical term for what she thought it was (not serious) and did not think it was Pancreatitis or pancreatic cancer.  She said if I have any more pain in that area, I am to contact her office immediately.  From the medical clinic, I picked up a Tim Hortons coffee and headed on down to the harbor and out to Rotary Cove.  I was surprised to see fog along the Lake Huron shoreline.  A quick stop at both Zehr's Supermarket and Walmart, and I was on my way home feeling pretty good about things.  A big change from a few weeks ago.

I was happy to see Lorraine roll in about 1:30, but quickly thought, 'Oh no, there goes my peanut butter sammichs for the next three or four days'.  However, how nice later in the afternoon to see her busy in the kitchen whipping us up a yummy smelling batch of fish & chips.  After supper, we were not long in getting ourselves down to Bayfield's south end to the Woodland Drive for ice cream.  We did our customary little tour around the village and cruised Main Street a couple of times as well.
