SOME DAYS I JUST SPEND TOO MUCH TIME THINKING BACK TO DAYS GONE BY
- People always ask why I tuck a pen in my shoe, and I reply, "in case I need to make footnotes!"
- I’m an electrician. Most people are really shocked when they learn I’m not that good at it
- I returned my lizard to the pet store because he wouldn’t stop telling dad jokes.
That’s not a lizard, the store clerk told me.
That’s a stand-up chameleon.
That’s a stand-up chameleon.
- What do lizards like to eat with their hamburgers? French flies
- Why did the lizard go on a diet? Because it was overweight according to its scales.

- What did the mom chameleon say to her nervous kid on the first day of school?
“Don’t worry, you’ll blend right in!”

- What is a gecko who knows magic called?
A Lizard Wizard.

What is a reptile’s favorite movie? The Lizard of Oz

ReplyDeleteMemories are made to look back on, enjoy.
ReplyDeletePity the people who don't have wonderful memories. You're a lucky man, Al.
ReplyDeleteYep, we all need time to think back. I really like your blog, Al, thank you.
ReplyDeleteLooking back on memories is a wonderful way to spend our time. Take care.
ReplyDeleteWonderful memories are a blessing and a place I love to spend time in. Amen to dirt roads and where they lead :-)
ReplyDeleteIt's (not) always wonderful or a treat to look back on memories, however, I know we've all got tons of good ones we *can* look back on. Great desert shots and I just love your selection of paintings/artwork. The moon-gazer mouse is particularly sweet, and I had to share it with a friend. (We worry about mice getting into our rigs during the winter, but this fellow would be tolerated, 🙂). Hugs, Linda
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting even when not much is happening- Mary Lou
ReplyDeleteI love all the dogs you find pictures of!
ReplyDeleteI do the same thing. It's hard to turn and change direction back to the past.
ReplyDeleteGood memories are the treasure you've built up over the years. They are the sauce to flavour everyday life.
